The second edition of the initiative “Theatre for All” took place in the “Prosveta 1928” Primary School in the Burgas village of Dimchevo. Young and old from the village enjoyed the production “Who will play Sly Peter?” of theater school “TALANTINO”.
“Theatre for all” was realized on the initiative of the municipal councilor from GERB Yasen Prodanov, who deals with the overall organization and popularization of the events.
The goal is to bring the magic of the theater to every neighborhood and settlement of Burgas, where people rarely have the opportunity to enjoy this art.
Theater actors from amateur schools in the city are included in the initiative, who play free of charge, and the revenue from tickets goes to the activities of the community centers.
“The first edition in Bulgarovo was a great success, but in Dimchevo it was somehow magical. A wonderful audience, talented children who participated in the production, and a decor that we never even dreamed of. I thank Mrs. Elena Atanasova – mayor of the village of Dimchevo, for the invitation. I am also extremely grateful to Mrs. Stanka Nikolova, secretary of the community center, for supporting life in it. Dimchevo is a small village, which is why we could not expect many spectators in the hall, and this, in turn, could not bring a decent income for the community center. That’s why I decided to make the performance free. And here I want to express huge thanks to one more person – my lawyer colleague Elena Kokalarova. She stood behind the initiative, and together with her we donated money for the activities of the community center, as well as several books to enrich the library fund,” pointed out Yasen Prodanov.
