“We’re going to die, but not even on stage.” The cultural players from the 5 Normandy departments gathered in front of the Rouen Opera (Seine-Maritime). Theaters, museums, cinemas or even theaters had hoped to reopen this Wednesday, January 7, but it is not.

Closed for more than two months, theaters, museums, cinemas or even performance halls were to reopen on December 15, the end date of the second confinement. This date had been postponed to today but the figures for the epidemic were not good, the government decided to keep their doors closed until further notice.

Already strongly weakened by the Covid-19 crisis, they now have no prospect of recovery and denounce the lack of information around their field of activity.
