The theater teacher, actress, director and producer from Santarroseña Noelia Trento will give an intensive seminar on “Acting Training and Stage Composition”, face-to-face and with limited space. Participants will work from poems by Olga Orozco, or another poet of their choice.
The proposal is intended for actresses, actors, dancers, acting students and those interested in training acting and working with texts; as well as directors, workshop coordinators, teachers, or observation roles.
The seminar space will begin with the idea of putting the participant in contact with their own current process, seeking an honest predisposition towards work. Enable the recognition of how we are, we feel, and make that the raw material of the present with which to work. “We will get in touch with the body and mind through a bodily training that broadens awareness and internal and external presence,” explained the teacher.
Training with texts is proposed considering that it is one of the theatrical signs that demands the use of specific voice tools, and the integration between this sign and the actor will be sought.
«We will do tests looking to find the right point at which the written word takes shape and becomes a physical fact. Finally, we will seek to articulate a staging with the materials worked on by the participants, with the intention that the seminar is a space that promotes and enables scenic production by getting closer to what summons us, “said Trento.
Data.
The seminar is paid and will be given on April 16 and 17, from 7 to 10 p.m. and from 5 to 8 p.m. respectively, in the room of the ATTP -Bolivia and José Luro-. The total quota is 10 participants, and as requirements it is requested to bring comfortable clothes, a log book and the chosen poem (that does not exceed a page, printed and learned).
