Theater, puppets and music this Christmas in Castellón and Peñíscola – Castellón-Vinaroz

Culture of the Generalitat, through the Institut Valencià de Cultura, is programming this Christmas in Castellón de la Plana and Peñíscola family theater, puppet and music proposals. A special program that will also welcome the year 2022.

The territorial delegate of the IVC in Castellón, Alfonso Ribes, has pointed out the importance of family programming, because, “In addition to doing a joint cultural activity with the whole family, it is, for many boys and girls, the first time they visit a theater and this is essential for their training”. Ribes has highlighted that family programming is always chosen with “extreme care of the values ​​it transmits and seeking the highest quality between the shows of the different companies”.

The Principal Theater of Castellón de la Plana will host this Sunday, December 26, at 6:00 p.m., the representation of ‘Story of a seed‘, from the company La Maquiné. An object theater show in which the story of a very special seed is told, a girl born from the roots of an oak. A work that talks about the environment, the excessive felling of trees, polluting waste or garbage and is aimed at people over 4 years old.

Finally, “For reasons beyond the control of the Institut Valencià de Cultura, we regret to have to notify the cancellation of the show ‘Satisfacshow’, scheduled for Tuesday, December 28. All the people who have bought tickets for said show, can claim the money back“.

To welcome the year 2022, on Sunday, January 2, at the Principal Theater of Castellón de la Plana, and on January 6, at the Palace of Peñíscola, the company La Troupe Malabó will present its work ‘Carpathians’.
