Theater director Roman Viktjuks died

At the age of 84, the theater director and Russian People’s Performer Roman Viktjuks has passed away, reports the portal “Medusa”, referring to the press service of the theater once established by the director.

The reasons for the director’s death have not been clarified at this time. In late October, it became known that Viktjuks was hospitalized with “Covid-19” in a Moscow hospital.

The novel Viktoryk has staged about 250 performances in Russia and abroad. His most famous productions include the “Servant” theater “Satirikons” in 1988 and “M. Butterfly”, with which the Roman Victor Theater was opened in 1991. The director’s creative career once began at the Lviv Drama Theater with Rainis’ play “Blow, Winds!” production.
