The Zurich Film Festival takes over the former “Kosmos” in Zurich – and keeps a low profile when it comes to questions about the money
The old idea of the big cinema in a different package: the cinemas of the “Kosmos”, which went bankrupt in December, will in future be used by the Zurich Film Festival. The new name of the cinema is «Frame».
The ZFF will take over the cinema premises on Europaallee in June 2023.
The Zurich rumor mill has been wafting around for some time, but now there is finally certainty: the Zurich Film Festival (ZFF) will be programming the former “Kosmos” cinemas on Europaallee in Zurich in the future. This was confirmed by the ZFF and the landlord SBB on Wednesday at a media conference on site, where they jointly presented their plans for the former Kosmos, which went bankrupt in December last year.
