The Zénith de Dijon transformed into a “large capacity” vaccinodrome

It’s official, the Zenith of Dijon (Côte-d’Or) will turn into a giant vaccination center by next Wednesday. On April 28, from 9 a.m., it will replace the centers of Devosge, Parc des Sports and Chenôve. Only the Saint-Apollinaire center will continue to operate. As soon as it opens, the center will be able to vaccinate more than 1,000 patients per day, indicates the prefecture.

The prefecture warns: “All patients who have obtained an appointment in one of these centers are invited to go to the Zenith center on the same dates and times. Thus, a person who has obtained an appointment on Wednesday April 28 at 10:30 am at the Devosge center, Gaston Gérard, or de Chenôve will keep his appointment, but will have to go to the Zénith. ”

This vaccinodrome will be supplied as messenger RNA vaccines (Pfizer, Moderna and now Janssen), reserved for anyone from over 60 years of age or having a risky pathology, but also to anyone from under 55 years of age who have received a first injection of Astrazeneca and need their second dose.

This vaccination center, hopes the prefecture, will make it possible to reach “The government goal of vaccinating 30 million people before the end of June, or about 240,000 in the department”.
