Today, March 24, at eleven o’clock in the morning a press conference was held at the City Hall, where the Deputy Mayor and Minister of Culture and Foreign Projection, Sara Fernández and the Manager of the Municipal Society of Zaragoza, David Lozano presented the novelties planned for the next edition of the Zaragoza Film Festival. This year the XXVI edition of this festival is celebrated and it will do so after a process of revision and renewal. In addition, it will focus its contents on the historical genre.
This edition will be endorsed by the Zaragoza City Council, whose Department of Culture and Foreign Projection will double its economic contribution, reaching 150,000 euros with the aim of strengthening its visibility on the national scene.
The Zaragoza Film Festival is now beginning a redesign process with an eye toward November, the date on which it will be held. “All this new impulse will not mean the disappearance of some of its traditional content,” said Sara Fernández, who has also admitted that work is being done on attracting premieres, making the event attractive to the big names in the national and even international sector.
