The youth associations of the Diocese of Würzburg are celebrating the “Kiliani Youth Day” on Saturday, July 9th, with different offers at different locations in the diocese.
The following text is a press release from the Diocese of Würzburg: “Unterwegs per Pedales” is the title of a bicycle tour from Würzburg to Gelchsheim. “Kilian, Totnan and Kolonat were not cycling at the time, but definitely on foot. We just want to master a distance with you that they may have walked from Würzburg,” says the announcement.
Meeting point is at 2 p.m. at the Kilianeum-Haus der Jugend at Ottostraße 1 in Würzburg. From there, the tour takes you along the Main Valley cycle path via Randersacker and Sommerhausen to Ochsenfurt. After a break at around 3:30 p.m., you cycle along the Gaubahn cycle path via Gaukönigshofen and Sonderhofen to Gelchsheim.
An open-air service is celebrated in the swimming pool in Gelchsheim. The return journey takes place with the Maintalsprinter from Gelchsheim or by train from Ochsenfurt. The minimum age is 14 years. A roadworthy bicycle, a bicycle helmet and good physical condition are required. Participation is free.

Worship Service with “Project Heaven”
The church youth work (kja) Main-Rhön and the pastoral room Burkardroth invite you to a “youth service in a summer evening atmosphere” in the Kurpark Bad Bocklet. At 5.30 p.m. a youth service will be celebrated, accompanied by the band “Project Heaven”. In the Kurpark there is the possibility to buy food.
If there is enough interest, bicycle tours to Bad Bocklet are offered. The starting points are planned at 1:30 p.m. on Findelberg, 2 p.m. at the commuter car park in Oberthulba and 3 p.m. at the bus station in Bad Neustadt. Under the motto “On the move together”, the kja Untermain and the youth center Sankt Kilian in Miltenberg invite you to a hike with impulses as well as a campfire and snacks at the youth center Sankt Kilian.
