Events begin.

After the youth music competition for the older age groups had to be held in digital form this year – due to Corona – the regional competition for the youngest participants is now taking place almost six months later. The low incidence figures would allow these evaluations, as hoped by the organizers, to take place in face-to-face form. “A digital competition would have been out of the question for us for these children between the ages of 6 and 12,” emphasized the regional committee chairman, Thomas Oertel, in a press release.
The competition will take place next Sunday, June 27th, between 9.30 a.m. and 6.30 p.m. in the Freiburg Music Academy, Schwarzwaldstraße 47. However, the hygiene concept does not yet allow the general public to be invited to this. The results will be posted on the regional website in the evening http://www.jumu-freiburg.de released.
