The young Mexican-Argentinian midfielder made his debut in Spanish championship at the age of 15 years, 7 months and 6 days. It is a record in the whole history of the Spanish Liga.
Romero shatters the record, which has been held by Francisco Bao Rodriguez since 1939. He had started in the league at the age of 15 years and 255 days (against 15 years and 219 days for Romero).
Because of his quality of play, and his technique, the young player is already compared to Leo Messi, he who plays in the lower categories of the Argentine selection for the time being.
Against Real Madrid, Luka Romero did not have time to bring much, but there is no doubt that the young player will be followed closely in the coming years, in La Liga or elsewhere.
