The call for grants, for a total amount of 60,000 euros, is part of the Universo Mujer III Program, promoted by the Higher Sports Council with the collaboration of the Fundación Deporte Joven and leading companies such as Iberdrola.
LThe Young Sports Foundation of the Higher Council of Sports launches the Universe Woman III Scholarshipsa call for training grants within the framework of the Universo Mujer III Program for the promotion of women’s sport, promoted by the Higher Council of Sports with the collaboration of the Fundación Deporte Joven, as well as prominent companies such as Iberdrola
One of the priority lines of action of the Universo Mujer III program is specialized training, aimed at all groups that make up the sport.: female players, coaches, managers and referees. The granting of this grant is designed to increase the number of female coaches in both men’s and women’s teams, at the grassroots and elite levels, as well as to increase the presence of female referees and referees in competitions in the different sports.
The total amount of aid amounts to 60,000 euros.of which 50,000 will go to female technicians and coaches, and 10,000 will benefit female judges and referees.
The purpose of the call is to provide training scholarships to women belonging to the technical bodies of Spanish sports federations, to obtain the title of Intermediate Level Sports Technician (initial cycle or final cycle) and Higher Level Sports Technician, in order to expand their participation in technical sports teams. The grants will cover training processes that are considered official training and that have been completed between January 1, 2022 and September 6, 2024.
Besides, The call aims to train women to become referees or judges.applying to those training processes recognized by the corresponding Spanish Federation, and having also ended between January 1, 2022 and September 6, 2024.
The application period will open next Monday, September 9and will remain active until September 20, 2024. All information regarding the bases of the call, as well as the application form, are available on the website of the Youth Sport Foundation.
