The young soldier involved in the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II dies in the barracks

LONDON, KOMPAS.com – A soldier English young people involved in the funeral War Elizabeth II reported dead barak soldiers in London.

The young soldier was named Jack Burnell-Williams, an 18-year-old member of the Household Cavalry.

Reported IndependentBurnell-Williams was found unconscious at London’s Hyde Park Barracks on Wednesday (9/28/2022) just before 4pm local time.

Burnell-Williams walked with Queen Elizabeth II’s coffin from Westminster Abbey to Wellington Arch during the Queen’s state funeral.

London Metropolitan Police said Burnell-Williams’ death was referred to the coroner to determine the cause.

Police added that Burnell-Williams’ death was unexpected but did not consider it suspicious.

Independent reports, Burnell-Williams is thought to have been involved in a number of ceremonial events during the mourning period for Queen Elizabeth II.

Her duties included escorting King Charles III and senior members of the royal family as the queen’s coffin was transported from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Abbey.

Friends and family paid tribute to Burnell-Williams. Her mother, Laura, said she was deeply saddened by the death of her son.

“I never thought I’d say that, but we as a family are deeply saddened by the passing of our wonderful son,” said Laura.

A British Army spokesman said he confirmed the death of Jack Burnell-Williams on 28 September 2022 at Hyde Park Barracks.

“Our thoughts are with the soldiers’ family and friends at this difficult time and we ask that their privacy be respected,” the spokesman said.
