Have a cinema or a games room in Luanco to have more leisure options in winter. This is one of the requests that Soledad Aramendi and Hugo García, 6th grade students at La Vallina school, made to the mayor of Gozón, Jorge Suárez, during an interview for the school magazine. The students took the opportunity to meet the councilor face to face to make some proposals. Therefore, in addition to leisure alternatives, the children insisted on the need to install benches in the school or increase the cleanliness of the playgrounds.
For his part, the mayor wanted to thank them for the “example” that young people have given by complying with the health measures that have been approved by the health crisis. “I wish the pandemic to pass soon so that they return to the sessions we had with them. It has been one of the most pleasant moments since I was mayor, “he acknowledged. He has also encouraged them to “take advantage of time at school and use social media carefully.”
The magazine, ‘La Ventana de La Vallina’, will be available at the end of the quarter in digital and printed format.
