The National Police have detained in Ourense Andrés de Vicente, the young man who attacked Mariano Rajoy in 2015, after hitting another man on the head who was trying to evict him from a bar where he had entered launching slogans in favor of ETA and EH Bildu.

This new event occurred last Tuesday, December 8, shortly before 11 p.m.

The young man broke into a bar in Ourense launching slogans in favor of ETA and the EH Bildu political party. The customers present at the establishment urged him to leave, to which the young man did not agree. At this moment and while the clients of the establishment were trying to remove him from the premises, the detainee took out an object – apparently a knife – with which he began to beat one of the men, and then flee the place on foot.

The witnesses called 061, asand the victim was bleeding from the head, in addition to 091, which moved a crew to the area. The victim had to be transferred to the Ourense Hospital, as he had cuts on his head that required stitches.

The agents set up a search device and located the alleged perpetrator on a street near the scene of the events.

The 22-year-old detainee, a native of Pontevedra and with a previous arrest, was identified as Andrés de Vicente, a young man who had remained for two years interned in a juvenile center after attacking the then Prime Minister, Mariano Rajoy, during an electoral walk through the city of Pontevedra in December 2015.

Subsequently, this young man starred in a new controversy last year for his involvement in the attack on the coordinator of the local Vox group in Pontevedra, Juan Manuel Rosales Pérez, when he was distributing brochures at an information table that had been set up in this city, next to the Plaza de Abastos.
