The “Young Film” festival draws a positive balance
St. Ingbert The management of the St. Ingbert Festival “Young Film” was able to draw a positive balance despite the considerable restrictions caused by the corona pandemic. “We are grateful for the great support that we received in these difficult times: from our partners (above all the city of St. Ingbert, which has always believed in us), our sponsors, donors and supporters, our fantastic team and of course the numerous filmmakers.

The corona pandemic shocked us all. We are all the more happy that we were able to bring the young film to people’s homes online during these difficult times. 166,000 spectators are a fantastic result. Culture lives in St. Ingbert. We were able to impressively prove that, ”said the festival’s artistic director, Jörn Michaely.

Michaely points out that film fans still have the opportunity to sniff the online festival. You will also find some of the recorded studio conversations and videos on the YouTube channel that guide you through the festival program and at the same time to St. Ingbert’s most atmospheric locations.
