Under the direction of Maria Antiome et Dylan Levesquethe singers of young choir “Presto” were elected world champions in sacred song and vice-champions in gospel a little over a year ago.
They give an appointment to the public for a beautiful concert on Saturday March 11 in the church of Bosc-le-Hard (Seine-Maritime) at 6 p.m.
You should know that the Master of Seine-Maritime each year trains more than 1,000 young singers educated in the department’s primary schools.
At the heart of rural territories
At the end of a 4-year training course, young people who so wish find themselves in the young choir “Presto”.
Composed of 42 singers aged 15 to 30, this choir aims to promote quality choral practice throughout Normandy.
Bringing culture and music to the heart of the rural territories of the region, the Presto choir defends an eclectic vocal repertoire, most often a cappella.
Many prizes for the young choir
Singing works from the Renaissance to today’s music, the choir is particularly committed to supporting contemporary creation. It regularly welcomes French and international composers in residence.
This choir is invited to perform regularly with the orchestras of the Normandy and Île de France regions? the Rouen Opera, the Hélios Orchestra, the Rives en Seine Orchestra, the Brassage Brass Band, the French Concert Band, the Another Big Band…
