At the penthouse, Devon thinks back to Dominic’s birth. Then he thinks about how easy it is to console him compared to Chance. It reminds him of Chance’s confessions: a bad father certain that he will end up disappointing his family. Devon’s gaze falls on a photo of Neil. How he wishes he could talk to him, right now. Neil would know how to guide him.
At Chancellor Manor, Abby didn’t sleep well after her conversation with Chance. Why won’t he fight for custody of Dominic? Devon is wrong to think that Chance should be a model father while he’s trying to recover from trauma. Healing takes time! Chance retorts that Dominic can’t wait for everything to be fine. Abby thinks that Dominic is doing great. They just need to learn to be a family. Unfortunately, their balance is threatened. Chance thinks that they need to reach an agreement with Devon. Getting involved in a lawsuit is a very bad idea… Abby reminds us that Devon signed a contract. How dare he try to change it? Abby intends to fight for Dominic’s good. To do that, she needs to know that Chance is on her side. Of course he is! Chance hugs Abby.
