The #yaonline movement team held a master class in Vitebsk | Society

Team volunteer movement #yaonline, initiated by A1, has been demonstrating the power of mobile technology for about two and a half years and showing how it can improve the quality of life for people of all ages. Since this year, the company itself has also started work corporate volunteer program. March 2, its participants trained digital literacy of older people in Vitebsk.

Older people, as well as people with disabilities, need a special approach to the study of modern technologies, which is why they are the main audience of the project. A1 employees find creative and effective ways to help our grandparents master digital technologies. As participants in the corporate volunteering program, they have already begun to train their loved ones, but this time, their students were the wards of the territorial center for social services for the population of the Zheleznodorozhny district of Vitebsk.

We are inspired by the project volunteers who share their skills and experience every day and thereby improve the everyday life of older people and people with disabilities. After training, wards can access any information: from health care and education to news and entertainment. And this is significant a step towards achieving the goal defined by the National Strategy “Active Longevity-2030” and aimed at increasing by 2030 numbers Internet users older age from 40 to 65%”– noted in A1.
