The Chicago White Sox gave a great display of their offense on the diamond of Guaranteed Rate Field to crush the New York Yankees 12-2 in the first game of the series between both teams in Major League Baseball.
First baseman Gavin Sheets came out in style and had four hits and drove in four runs for the White Sox.; for his part the catcher, Korey Lee and second baseman Brooks Baldwin hit home runs to ring the cash register and complete an important victory over the ‘Bronx Bombers’.
With this crushing victory, the White Sox set their season highs in runs with 18 hits included; thus giving the first victory to interim manager Grady Sizemore, who took control after the dismissal of Pedro Grifol.
