The Xunta invests almost half a million euros in the construction of two pedestrian paths of more than one kilometer in the municipalities of Sada and Oleiros and that they will be in operation at the beginning of next year.
This was announced by the Minister of Infrastructure, Ethel Vázquez, on a visit to the works. One of the roads will be installed on the AC-163 highway, between Pazos and Sada, with a length of 630 meters.
According to the regional official, this path will be “beneficial” due to the “abundance” of homes in the area and its proximity to the port of the municipality.
The other 400-meter path for pedestrians and cyclists will connect Mandín, in Sada, with As Torres, in Oleiros, through the AC-182 road and will also include the conditioning of an existing overpass over the Vía Ártabra.
These two works are part of the Path plan of the A Coruña region which includes about six kilometers of itineraries with a total investment of 4.7 million euros within the Feder program of European funds.
