The XLIII edition of the Villa de Abejar Popular Cross Country Race is closing its final hours for registration, as at 11:59 p.m. on Thursday the deadline for competing in a race that will take place this Sunday closes. Registration can be done on the website deporticket.com.
On Thursday morning, around 200 athletes had already registered to take part in the race in the pine forest, which will start on Sunday morning, specifically at 10.30 am, with the lower categories.
Those who are more clueless should bear in mind that in the latest editions of this Abejar Cross, registrations can no longer be made on the same day of the event, a situation that did occur in the early years of the dean of popular athletics in Soria.
The registration fee is 5 euros for all categories and can be paid through the website deporticket.com. Veterans who wish to complete two laps must register in the senior category and will compete in that category. Women who wish to run 8,800 metres can, but only the first lap will be counted. Anyone aged 35 on the day of the race can register for the veteran A category. The same applies to veteran Bs who are 50 years old.
