Nogales, Sonora.- With a host of artistic, cultural and educational activities, the City Government who heads the Mayor Juan Gim Nogalesthrough (Imfoculta) will carry out the Fourteenth Edition of the Book Fair 2024 “The Dissidents of Gender and Text” from the 18th to the 27th of this month in the Plaza CECUN and in the Public Library.
The mayor Gim Nogales, the councilwoman Marisela Romero Nebuaythe director of the Municipal Institute for the Promotion of Culture and Arts (Imfoculta), Nadir Del Cid Gonzálezas well as the director of the Nogalense Youth Institute, Glen Lizarraga Arredondo and the coordinator of the Public Library, Ulysses Lavenant Brauannounced the details of this event that aims to promote the habit of reading among children, young people and adults.
“This time we are paying tribute to the great Mexican writers Rosario Castellanos and Salvador Novo, so I am pleased to invite all the citizens of both Nogales to attend this activity in which there will be a huge variety of books from many publishers and authors of national and international stature”said the Municipal President.
Dates and times
At the press conference held in the board room of the Municipal Palace, it was reported that the Book Fair 2024 will begin on Friday the 18th at 9:00 a.m. in the CECUN Plaza where the publishing houses will present the offer of their books lasting until 7:00 p.m.; From 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. there will be a literary workshop in the Municipal Public Library.
