It seems that a race has been unleashed to see which phone will be the first to include Qualcomm’s new processor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 which was unveiled today at Snapdragon Tech Summer, Hawaii. Motorola has already announced that its Moto Edge X30 will include this new processor, and Xiaomi Has published a small video where looks like they install a new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 on one of their boards.
The processor and board correspond to the next Xiaomi 12 which will also include this new Snapdragon. Even have posted a tweet in which it indicates that will be the first to include it, that if the rumors of its launch for December 12 were true, they would remain a few days behind the Moto Edge X30. Who knows, they might decide to get ahead of this release to be the first.
According to rumors, in addition to this Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, the Xiaomi 12 will have a LPTO panel with variable frequency from 1 to 120 Hz and AMOLED panel. It will have a front camera as a hole and a triple camera system on the back with 50 MP each. It is expected that this new Xiaomi already included the new Android 12 operating system. To ensure these and know other features we will have to wait for its release officially dated as soon.
