(PressFire.no): It’s been a few years since Microsoft revealed that they were working on a so-called streaming box, which is a small gadget that plugs into your TV to be able to stream games (and connect to wireless controllers).
But even though Xbox streaming has come full circle, development of this box (which is called Keystone) was restarted in May. This is presumably because it wasn’t good enough.
But a photo posted on Twitter by Xbox boss Phil Spencer caused rumors to boil: was it the discarded version of the streaming box or an early version of a new one?
A few hours after Spencer posted the photo, the official Xbox Twitter jab responded to the boss:
– What did we say about putting the first prototypes on your shelf, boss?
A date has not yet been announced for the Xbox streaming box, and there is probably some time left before we can interpret Microsoft’s statements in May.
