Excellence, innovation and a lot of creativity: The Xaver Award 2024, carried out by the Swiss LiveCom Association Expo Event, is in the starting blocks. The submission phase for the “Oscars of the Swiss event industry” has opened, and the award show will take place on September 10th in the halls of JED Events in Zurich/Schlieren.
Christian Künzli, President of the Swiss LiveCom Association, is looking forward to the upcoming 22nd edition in a statement: “With the Xaver, the industry shows its innovative strength and creativity every year. We are convinced that a large number of great projects will be submitted this year too.”
A jury of LiveCom professionals
The submitted concepts are selected and evaluated by an expert jury: Dany Waldner (Jury President, Architect ETH, Waldner Partner), Norbert Egli (Head of Branding), Maximilian Souchay (Managing Partner), Andrea Meier (Head of Partnership & Live Experience), Mauro Testerini (interior architect, scenographer, designer, exhibition organizer & project manager) and Nadine Imboden (show producer, director, choreographer). The jury is in this compilation for the third time this year. «In the current constellation, we have broad know-how that covers large areas of the event industry. This enables us to make a balanced and neutral assessment of the submitted projects,” says jury president Dany Waldner.
The application for the Xaver Award is public and runs until April 30, 2024. Until then, applications can be submitted between February 1, 2023 and April 30, 2024 implemented LiveCom projects can be entered. (pd/cbe)
