The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20+ would be deprived of x100 zoom, a feature yet very highlighted on the S20 Ultra.

The x100 zoom is one of the most highlighted features of the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra. Useless for some, amazing for others, this photo option has been much talked about. However, the future Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20+ would apparently not be eligible.
In any case, this is what Ice Universe, the famous leaker whose predictions have been shown to be very correct on the S20 series and on the Galaxy Z Flip.

Still a 108 megapixel sensor for the Galaxy Note 20+
Ice Universe also adds that the Galaxy Note 20+ would still be entitled to the main 108-megapixel sensor, as on the S20 Ultra. However, here we would have an additional sensor to support to improve the focus during the shooting.
Galaxy Note20 + will still use 108mp HM1, but add a new sensor to assist in focusing and completely solve the focusing problem.

If this information is to be taken with a lot of tweezers, we can imagine that Samsung was not satisfied with the way in which its x100 zoom was received and would therefore set to work on its recipe before re-proposing such a solution. In the meantime, the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20+ would be content with more conventional telephoto lenses.
Also remember that the Galaxy Note 20+ should be entitled to 120 Hz mode better managed in terms of autonomy. In addition, we are waiting an Exynos 992 on this next generation of products and a presentation this summer at the same time as the Galaxy Fold 2.
Finally, among the competition, fans of x100 zoom will be able to follow with interest the marketing of the Huawei P40 Pro + scheduled in a few weeks to see a new smartphone equipped with this feature.
