There are still at least five thousand cents in circulation that are worth a treasure due to a minting error that made them collectible.
A sensational minting error. Indeed two. It resembles a 2 cents coin in size and on the back it has printed the symbol of Turin, the Mole Antonelliana. Nothing abnormal except that the coin is 1 cent. Double mistake: the effigy depicted and the size of the coin. That’s why it became a collector’s item. In the past it was even sold to 6 thousand euros, today with the passage of time it acquires more and more value, also because it is difficult to find them.
Nevertheless we’re full of these cents in the house, we even refuse them as the rest of the shopping and often make a nest egg to take to the supermarket that changes them for paper euros. Who knows the 5 thousand copies still in circulation from how many hands have passed. Throw away 2500 euros: obviously without knowing it. But the research can continue and can reserve pleasant surprises.
One cent coin: 5000 copies still in circulation, the double mistake that made them precious
Not only on the 1 cent coin, the mint made a mistake in depicting the symbol, but its size is larger than normal, it looks more like 2 cents. Double mistake, therefore, and this explains once again the reason why collectors and the banks themselves are looking for them. Above the coin is depicted the Mole Antonelliana instead of the Castel del Monte.

Due to the error of the State Mint, these coins have a value that can be between 5 and 6 thousand euros for the most avid collectors. But its value, according to the information of the banks, is more presumably around 2,500 euros, but someone would also spend 3,000 euros to get them: 300,000 times more than their real value. The advice for everyone is to check all the 1 cent coins that pass through your hands from today. And good luck!
