Vitaliano Trevisan, actor and writer from Vicenza, was found dead Friday at his home in Crespadoro, in the province of Vicenza. Trevisan had just turned 61 and was discharged from the psychiatric ward of the Montecchio Maggiore hospital last October, where he had undergone a mandatory health check. Trevisan began writing novels in the 1990s. With The fifteen thousand steps, his second book, won the Campiello Francia prize.
