Finland’s Eurovision hero Wrappereli Jere Pöyhönen30, got it Donald Duck – on the cover of a comic magazine.

The duck version of Käärijä features last year’s Eurovision winner on the cover Loreen’s with. In the photo, the wrapper is wearing the green bolero, potted hair and black mustache that have become a trademark. Loreen, on the other hand, has a familiar brown outfit and long nails.

If you don’t see the link, you can see the post from Käärijä’s fan page in the magazine here.

According to Ilta-Sanom, Käärijä reacted to the honor he received on Wednesday in his Instagram stories, which can be viewed 24 hours after their publication. In the video, the artist is holding a Donald Duck magazine.

– What the hell? The wrapper says, looking at the cover of the magazine at the same time.

The wrapper represented Finland in Eurovision in 2023 with his song Cha cha cha. The artist finished second in the competition, but was clearly the audience’s favorite in the voting.

The artist will perform today, May 9, at the second semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö, Sweden. Herreys has also been confirmed as the semi-final halftime performer. The group won the Eurovision Song Contest for Sweden in 1984 with their song Diggi-Loo Diggi-Ley.

The second semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest will be shown at 22:00 on Yle TV1. The second semi-final features, among others, Israel, whose participation in the competition has aroused mixed feelings among viewers. Finland’s representative Windows95man reached the final in the first semi-final held on Tuesday.
