The worst breakfasts for heart health
1-Pastries
Pastries contain what nutritionists call the triple threat of saturated fat, refined sugar, and inflammatory chemicals. Found in food dyes, all of these substances lead to inflammation in the body. Chronic inflammation slowly damages arteries and other small blood vessels, and can contribute to heart disease.

2- Yogurt with flavors
Yogurt is healthy, but the flavors can be deceiving. One container contains about 17 teaspoons of added sugar per day. Nearly three times the recommended amount of 6 teaspoons or less per day, as well as food dyes, a review published in November 2013 in the International Journal of Nutrition found that some food dyes are linked to cancer, genotoxicity and hypersensitivity in animals.
3-pancakes
Pancakes are made with refined carbohydrates such as white flour. Since refined carbohydrates lack sufficient fiber, they spike blood sugar, causing an inflammatory response. Pancake lovers tend to dunk pancakes in high-fat butter and sugary syrup.

5-hash browns
Hash browns are one of the meals that have recently joined the fast food list. They are french fries with white flour added, which makes them a meal rich in unhealthy fats and refined carbohydrates.
6- Takeaway coffee
Ready-to-drink coffee drinks contain creamers and sugars, which have been linked to an increased incidence of heart disease and a host of other ailments such as weight gain, obesity, type 2 diabetes, kidney disease, non-alcoholic liver disease, tooth decay, cavities, and gout, a type of inflammatory arthritis.
