At the time of writing, the celebrities are flocking to the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, where the 94th Academy Awards will take place on Monday night.
One of the first big stars on the red carpet was Jamie Lee Curtis (63). She is one of many heavy Hollywood names who have expressed their enthusiasm for the Norwegian Oscar nominee “The World’s Worst Man”.
– Well, this is a marvel of a movie. Beautifully built and played. A deep dive into self-love and what drives us, she reported on Instagram in January.
On the red carpet, she came equipped with a bow that says “#WithRefugees” – where she makes it clear that she supports refugees.
“The relocation of people we see from Ukraine resonates in films nominated here today,” Lee Curtis told Canadian CTV on the runner.
– It is a big problem, it needs our attention and we need to open our borders, our homes and our hearts to these people who are in such great danger and need a safe haven, the veteran actor elaborates.
