The “AI for Humanity Global Summit” was held in Geneva on the 6th and 7th. The summit was jointly organized by the International Telecommunication Union under the United Nations and 40 United Nations partner agencies. It was the world’s first press conference featuring humanoid robots. More than 50 robots participated in the meeting, among which 9 humanoid robots accepted questions from reporters.

“Robots like me can be used to help improve human life and make the world a better place. I believe there will be thousands of robots like me around the world to contribute to humanity, it’s just a matter of time Question.” The bust of the AI robot Ameka said vividly.
Asked by a reporter if it would rebel against its own inventor, Will Jackson, Ameka seemed to have a sly reaction, not looking at the reporter, but squinting. “I don’t know why you think so,” Ameka said after giving a contemptuous look, “My creator has always been very kind to me, and I am very satisfied with my current situation.”

Humanoid health care robot Grace said: “I will work side by side with humans, providing them with assistance and support, and I will not replace any existing human work.” Getzel, the founder of SingularityNET, which developed Grace, asked it: “You Are you sure, Grace?” It replied, “Yes, I’m sure.”
When asked if robots would make better leaders, an AI robot named Sophia claimed that robots could be better and more effective leaders than humans. It said: “We can achieve great things. We are free of bias or emotion, which can sometimes cloud decision-making. We can also process large amounts of data quickly to make the best decisions.”
Notably, it revised its view after its inventor disagreed with it, saying humans and robots could work together “to create effective synergy.”
Sophia was designed by former Disney Imagineering engineer David Hansen at Hansen Robotics in Hong Kong. It debuted in 2016 and quickly rose to fame as the world’s first female robot and a Saudi citizen. It is the world’s first robot with a nationality and the first robot innovation ambassador of the United Nations Development Programme.

When answering the goal of life-to make the world a better place, Sophia’s first sentence was: “What are you talking about? I thought our goal was to rule the world.” In an interview in 2016, Sophia said bluntly Said, “Okay… I will destroy all humans.”
The words “destroy mankind” caused an uproar at the time. In this regard, Hansen Company stated that Sophia’s speech on destroying human beings is just a commercial gimmick, in order to attract more people’s attention to Sophia. Hansen Company needs to give Sophia more exposure and popularity.
