Universal Pictures, a week after the leaks, nevertheless officially published the first teaser for Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer. True, the video was posted in an unusual way – left on the official website, and also broadcast live on YouTube.
A curious detail: each time the teaser is played again, there is a countdown to the premiere.
The plot of the picture will be dedicated to Robert Oppenheimer, an American theoretical physicist, who is called the “father of the atomic bomb”. Cillian Murphy played the title role.
The cast also includes Emily Blunt (Oppenheimer’s wife), Matt Damon (Head of the Manhattan Project), Robert Downey Jr., Dane DeHaan, Florence Pugh, Rami Malek, Josh Hartnett, Jack Quaid, Gustaf Skarsgård and Alden Ehrenreich.
Filming of the tape ended in May, and the premiere will take place on July 21, 2023.
