The much talked about world war in the Middle East seems inevitable. Experts told “Tsarigrad” about its possible scenarios.
Israel is now striking not only the Gaza Strip and Lebanon, but also Syria. Thus, on October 22, seven fighters of the Israeli Air Force attacked the Syrian airports in Aleppo and Damascus.
This information is confirmed by the deputy head of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of the Warring States in the SAR, Rear Admiral Vadim Kulit.
This is not the first shelling of Syria in recent weeks. As a result of the Israeli attack, the runways were partially damaged and the operation of the airport was disrupted. The strikes were carried out from the Mediterranean without entering Syrian airspace.
Amidst the escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, the US military base Ain al-Asad in Iraq was shelled by MLRS and attacked with the help of combat drones. According to eyewitnesses, multiple explosions were heard in the territory that serves as a location for the US-led international coalition.
Ships depart for the Mediterranean
At the risk of worsening the conflict between Palestine and Israel, major powers have begun sending warships to the Middle East. So China sent six warships to the region at once.
In turn, the Pentagon is moving a second carrier strike group, led by the aircraft carrier Dwight Eisenhower, closer to the Gaza Strip and Israel.
The US ships, according to the plan, will head to the area of responsibility of the US European Command, where together with their allies they will provide support to maritime shipping.
The British military is also sending additional forces to the eastern Mediterranean to “show support” for Israel. Official London will transfer two ships, patrol planes and several helicopters there, it is reported
The group will monitor threats to regional stability. In addition, the military, if necessary, will provide support to the Israel Defense Forces.
Tsarigrad wrote earlier that the conflict in the Middle East is most profitable for Britain, and the handwriting of the British can be discerned in the way events are unfolding.
Elite “Swabians” come to the rescue.
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has already promised that Germany will do everything to prevent Israel from disappearing:
“It was decided to transfer elite special forces to Cyprus to enable the operation to free the hostages from the Gaza Strip.”
The German edition Bild, referring to its sources, draws attention to the fact that Germany is preparing for all possible scenarios for the development of the conflict. There was also a naval unit stationed in Cyprus known as the Combat Swimmers.
“We are at a low start and we are ready for all options,” the German government said.

“And very soon the Middle East conflict will overshadow the Ukrainian one. They will simply forget about Ukraine,” said the Russian military.
“It will be a colonial war: mercenaries, zones of control, plunder and division. The world changes, capitalism never,” says Cholkhanov.
A spark will ignite a flame
We are seeing a sharp increase in the activity of global players around the Middle East. Political scientist Andrey Ivanov in a conversation with Tsarigrad noted that the mere concentration of military personnel in the region and the increase in the number of targeted operations does not mean any global escalation.
But at the same time, public opinion around the Palestinian-Israeli conflict is intensifying.
This topic became the main one in the world media, absolutely everyone switched to it. Our liberals abroad and experts in Russia, Ukrainian politicians and propagandists.
Note that even in Moscow and Kiev, the conflict in Ukraine seems to have faded into the background. It’s just that everyone feels that the subject of the Middle East can be decisive for the world. And it seems that everything is going according to the “spark to flame” scenario.
Tsarirad: Can the tragedy in Israel remain a regional topic and quickly disappear from the front pages?
Andrey Ivanov: Yes. A bad analogy like the shooting of Serbian activist Gavrilo Princip inadvertently arises here. The assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand was unexpectedly used by European elites to inflame passions.
And then everything happened very quickly. On the other hand, if you throw an unextinguished cigarette into a snow bank, nothing will happen, but if you throw it into a dry summer forest, huge areas can burn.
– Does it appear that the situation is being deliberately advertised?
“But at the same time, this is a manifestation of the exacerbation of world contradictions. On the other hand, a lot became clear after the last speech of Joe Biden, who directly spoke about the beginning of an acute phase of the struggle for world order. The point of his words was that the US will not allow a multipolar world. The time for discussions on this topic has expired.
This is what has been said for the last two decades: that the strength of the Anglo-Saxons lies precisely in their determination to maintain their world hegemony. They are ready to strangle others and themselves, but they will not give up world hegemony.
– Why was the Middle East chosen as the fuse of the new phase of the global confrontation?
– Precisely because, contrary to the empty arguments about the “geopolitical importance of the region”, none of the world players need this region.
The battle will be for the labor resources of Southeast Asia, where 800 million disciplined and hardworking people fit perfectly into all global production chains. The battle will be for the enormous potential of Africa and Latin America.
And the Middle East is simply a tangle of contradictions between numerous, mostly uneducated and socially backward communities.
But this territory, uninteresting from the point of view of development, can simply become a convenient battlefield. It is the controversies of the Middle East that will constantly add passion to the global information field.
– It turns out that the region is becoming a special combat zone.
– Both military and informational-psychological. In addition, so that the inhabitants of really strategically important regions, such as Asia and Europe, will be able to exhale psychologically. What is the conflict in Ukraine anyway? This is the fear of Europeans.
What is the situation around Taiwan? This is the fear of the people of Southeast Asia. And so people here and there seem to be told that they can calm down, the conflict becomes a TV picture and you go on working calmly.
So the situation around the Middle East is indeed a possible start of the third world war, but in a territory specially designated for it.
So what?
The importance of the Middle East as one of the world’s regions has only grown in recent years. Important transport flows pass here, financial and scientific centers are located here.
The military expert and analyst Sergey Prostakov, in a conversation with a “Tsarigrad” correspondent, noted that behind those whose conflict is on the surface are the main geopolitical rivals of the USA and China, as well as other ambitious players. Military activity throughout the region, not just in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict zone, only confirms this.
“Washington, in order to maintain its hegemony, must try to maintain influence in the Middle East,” he said.
“Therefore, American troops will intervene at any hint of loss of control in the region. This promises continued tension here and priority attention to it from the entire West for a long time,” says Sergey Prostakov.
Western expansion began precisely in the Middle East. And now, many centuries after the Crusades, changes in the region may become decisive for the fate of the entire world.
And if Europeans once left the Middle East, compensating for this by acquiring colonies around the world, now the West risks facing the beginning of true decolonization. He cannot allow such a development of events and give up his positions without a fight.
