Most smartphone manufacturers published their last quarterly results last week, from which analytical companies build rankings of the most successful mobile brands. IDC called last week as Samsung’s global winner, however, Xiaomi has an interest in his position, which grew by an incredible 86.6 percent year on year. Europe has a large share in this, where Xiaomi even rose to the first place last quarter.
Xiaomi rules Europe, Apple is third
The European ranking of the largest producers differs from the global one, at least according to the agency’s statistics Strategy Analytics. According to them, Xiaomi delivered 12.7 million smartphones to the European market last quarter, which gives the company more than a quarter of market share. Samsung finished second with 12 million smartphones shipped, and Apple is in third place with 9.6 million iPhones.
Interestingly, compared to the global ranking, there is a fairly deep chasm under a delicious apple; In fact, it was enough for Oppo to supply “only” 2.8 million smartphones to the market. The largest five is then closed by the brand Realme (which belongs to Oppo) with 1.9 million units delivered. By the way, Oppo and Realme are the biggest jumpers in the European rankings; the first brand grew by 180 percent, Realme even by 1,800 percent. But it grows easily from scratch.
Xiaomi is very well on his feet, especially considering that he has virtually no presence in the US market. But it is incredibly difficult for Chinese companies to do it.
