It is to some extent a symbolic place of the game, because in Karlovy Vary in April the intensive stage of preparation for the World Cup gold began, and the senior team played two winning matches against Germany here as well. After the duel in the KV Arena, Radim Rulík’s team and the Swedish team will move to Helsinki, Finland. There, on Saturday 9 November, the Czechs will play against the home team, and on Sunday they will finish the Karjala Cup with a duel against Switzerland.

Fans will have another chance to see the national team at home on Thursday, December 12, when another “away” game will be held in the Czech Republic. This time they will welcome Finland here as part of the Swiss Games. The union has not yet announced the venue of the match, but it will not be Prague’s O2 Arena, where the December duels are usually held, as Chinaski is holding a concert there on the day mentioned.

“Czech hockey will publish more information about the December game, including the venue and the start of ticket sales, in the first half of November,” read the association’s press release.
