The works on Line 10 of the Valencia metro executed by Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana (FGV) in the surface section of its future route will force for a month to narrow the road at the exit roundabout to the highway of El Salt, which will mean a reduction in the circulation space of road traffic of said infrastructure.

Specific, from October 25 to November 20 The repair of the road crossings will be undertaken at the different points where the tramways connect with the road on which the cars circulate, intersections “very deteriorated with the passage of time and vehicles”, according to the Generalitat itself Valenciana in a statement.

The work on the crossings with the tracks will be moved weekly from one point to another of the roundabout so that the narrowing of the road does not coincide in several areas at the same time. In this way, the Administration explains, the Road Traffic.

These actions are part of the conditioning works of the track superstructure, architecture and equipment of Line 10 of Metrovalencia (Alicante-Nazareth), corresponding to the section on the surface, from the exit of the tunnel on the Amado Granell ramp to the Natzaret neighborhood, budgeted at more than six million euros.

The actions planned in this project also include the construction in the Natzaret neighborhood of the temporary deposit for the tram units that will circulate through this extension of the current network of Metrovalencia.

The architectural works in the surface stops include the conditioning and equipping of the canopies, as well as the electrical installations and lighting, communications, tolls and information for the traveler and the urbanization of the areas affected by the work.

The construction project of the whole of this line is co-financed by the European Union, through the operational program of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the Valencian Community 2014-2020.

Line 10, once completed, will link the center of Valencia with the area of ​​the City of Arts and Sciences and the neighborhood of Nazareth, considerably expanding the transport offer of the metro network This line combines underground and surface sections, with a route of 5.3 kilometers and eight stations and stops (three underground and five on the surface).
