Today, the Swedish biathlon ladies were to compete in Holmenkollen.
But it is canceled at short notice.
The reason is rain and wind in the Norwegian capital.
At 2:15 p.m., the idea was that Elvira Öberg, Stina Nilsson and the other Swedish ladies would go out on the distance in Holmenkollen, the World Cup restart after the WC.
However, due to the wet and windy weather in the Norwegian capital, the competition is being moved at short notice.
The competition runs tomorrow instead.
– I don’t think everyone would have been able to stay on their feet today, it could have gone quite badly. You can’t see the paintings either, so it would have been extremely unfair, says Elvira Öberg i SVT.
On Friday, the men will also compete in the distance, but even then the weather forecasts are not the most optimal either. But at the moment it is unknown how the weather will affect the planned competition programme.
