The incident happened on June 10, half an hour before midnight in one of the villages in the Jindřichův Hradec region. Police spokeswoman Hana Millerová informed him about it on Friday, stating that the prosecution was initiated this week.

“In the enclosed yard belonging to the family house, she was supposed to release the Argentine Mastiff from the dog pen, which attacked and bit the injured man and his adult son in the yard, believing that the visit had already left. These were visiting the owner of the building, “said the spokesperson.

The men had to go to the hospital with lacerations and bruises, hospitalization was not necessary.
–
During the investigation, the police came to the conclusion that the woman released the dog without being convinced whether the visit had already left the house. By doing so, she violated the obligation arising from her position as the owner of the animal, the police concluded.
–
The police also took the dog from the woman. In addition, the investigation showed that the removal of the animal was ordered by the authorities and the court in February. “The case in question does not belong to the perpetrator and it requires the safety of people,” Miller explained. However, the woman did not hand over the dog until after the June incident.
–
The police did not specify who was the owner of the dog and, if so, in what relationship she was accused with the owner of the house where the attack took place. “Prosecution takes place in the regime of abbreviated pre-trial proceedings,” Miller added.
