Mr. Yoo, who was accused of being behind the kidnapping and murder in Gangnam, Seoul, was arrested yesterday, and his wife, Mr. Hwang, was also arrested by the police this morning.
Police believe that the couple paid money to kill the victim.

Mr. Yoo, who was identified as the mastermind behind the kidnapping and murder in Gangnam, was arrested.
It has been two days since I was arrested in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province.
His wife, Mr. Hwang, was also arrested by the police on suspicion of instigating robbery and murder.
The circumstances of the attempt to destroy evidence, such as meeting the wife of the main culprit Lee Kyung-woo and asking her to get rid of her cell phone, also influenced the arrest.
As a result, the suspects arrested by the police are the three main culprits, Mr. Yoo and Mr. Hwang couple,
A total of six people, including Mr. Lee, who participated in the crime conspiracy.
The police believe that the couple paid money to the main culprit, Lee Kyung-woo, to kidnap and kill the victim, Choi.
In 2021, Lee received 40 million won from Mr. Yoo and his wife on two occasions, and immediately after the crime, he requested 60 million won, which the police see as a down payment and success fee related to this crime, respectively.
The police believe that the Yoo couple had been engaged in a lawsuit with Mr. Choi in the process of investing in coins, which had died, and the relationship deteriorated, leading to kidnapping and murder.

The police plan to send the three main criminals arrested earlier to the prosecution tomorrow, and to investigate the motive and timing of the crime against the couple.
