Barely published, volume 2 of “The Woman In Me” should appear in 2024.
Britney Spears has things to say. While she revealed her highly anticipated autobiography on October 24, the American singer does not seem to have finished telling her truth. Entitled “The Woman In Me,” her memoir sold like hotcakes, with an estimated 15 million copies sold. But his book is barely in bookstores, Britney Spears already announces the sequel.
For 324 pages, the reader is immersed in the past of Britney Spearsin between “freedom, fame, motherhood, survival, faith and hope”, we can read in the summary. A book where the interpreter of “Toxic” looks back in particular on her career, an abortion, her shaved head in 2007 and of course, her long guardianship where she was dispossessed of her own person.
As she looks back on many tumultuous years of her life, Britney Spears wanted to clarify the situation regarding the release of this book: “The aim of my book is not to offend anyoneshe explains in an Instagram post. I don’t like the headlines I read. This is the reason I left the business four years ago. Most of the things I say in my book are from 20 years ago. I have changed and I am in a wonderful healthier state.”. A way for her to “reclaim your history”. A story that is not yet finished: Britney Spears has already planned the sequel and should see the light of day during the year 2024. In a publication now deleted, she announces the release of a volume 2, in order to continue her fight for her truth.
