Lorna Garnet, 28, of Bedford, UK, claims that her life has been “ruined” by a Ukrainian refugee who has betrayed her beloved man, with whom she has been in a relationship for eight years, writes the British tabloids The Daily Mirror and The Sun.
The mother of two claims that a Ukrainian refugee, 22-year-old Sofia Karkadima, “ruined” her life after the woman gave her shelter in her home in Bradford, where she lived with her long-term partner Anthony.
According to Lorna, after a while the young Ukrainian started wearing revealing clothes and red lipstick. Two weeks later, Lorna had expelled Sofia and had been destroyed when her beloved Anthony went with the young woman.
Lorna told The Sun that Sofia had paid attention to Anthony from the very beginning. “I just don’t understand how he could have dropped it all because of the woman he has known for two weeks. The life I know has been ruined,” the media quotes Lorna as saying.
The story has also made headlines in Ukraine, as IT manager Sofia and security guard Anthony sat in front of the camera, saying they “could not fight” for mutual love.
Sofia burst into tears, insisting she was not a family troublemaker and claiming that Lorna had matched the two with her constant suspicions. “Her constant suspicions, the tension, it all brought us closer to Tony,” said Sofia. She also claims that the couple had problems before they arrived.
