At a time when, according to hygienists, she was supposed to be in solitary confinement, she took a taxi to the hospital to pick up her mother and also stopped at a store. According to the Czech Television, this is the first such case in the Moravian-Silesian Region that has gone to court.

Defendant Renáta Gažová violated the order of hygienists to stay at home for two weeks in May. At that time, there was still a 14-day quarantine, from September the deadline is 10 days.

The woman was threatened with up to eight years in prison because she did not respect the rules during the state of emergency. “Together with her mother, she moved on the street in front of the house among other people. Both without wearing veils,” said public prosecutor Aleš Boháč.
