The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt received patch 4.03 on all platforms, which at first glance might look like one of many, but the reality is different. It brings something new to the game, which will make life easier for some, but it does not appeal to fans of the original concept, which forces you to properly prepare to fight monsters. What is new is the addition of the ability to apply oil to your weapon during combat. If, of course, you have it ready in your bag.
Some members of the community don’t like this move because they think it makes the overall hunting process a lot easier. One of them presents the original format as follows: “The idea was that you should research the monster before the fight and come prepared. You couldn’t use oils as such in combat,” According to some, this move moves The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt more into the hack-and-slash realm.
In addition to this innovation, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt also received the Next Gen Script Fixes modification, correcting some shortcomings and a number of other novelties. You can view its form in detail here.
Patch 4.03 for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is being rolled out and will soon be available on PC, PlayStation and Xbox! This update contains various gameplay and quest fixes.
