Today, May 19, Witcher 3: Wild Hunt turned eight years old – we went in search of Ciri in 2015 and did not yet know that for some of us this would turn into a search for opponents for Gwent.
CD Projekt RED addressed gamers in honor of such a significant date:
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt celebrates its eighth birthday today. It doesn’t matter which team you are on – Triss or Jenn. We are all Geralt’s team. Thank you for all those incredible years spent slaying monsters, looking for Ciri, countless rounds of Gwent, or enjoying the beautiful sunset in Velen!
The congratulations of the players did not end there, and the developers posted a collage with screenshots.
A couple of days before that, the studio also celebrated the 12th anniversary of The Witcher 2.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is available on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.
