CD Projekt RED confirmed last week that it has received player complaints and intends to respond by improving The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on PC. After a few days of work, we managed to finish the production and the first update for the next-gen version of the game has just come out.
“We have just released a patch for The Witcher 3 for PC which should improve overall stability and performance and fix GOG and Steam overlays. The version of the game will not change. Our teams are working to further improve the experience across all the platforms”.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt owners on Steam will download a 3GB patch and GOG customers will download 1.9GB of data. CD Projekt RED has also confirmed that it has updated the position on Origin, which will certainly please the players who years ago decided to promote and buy Geralt’s adventure on the Valve platform.
The studio intends to work constantly to improve the player experience, so there will probably be more patches in the coming days that will perfect the next-gen of The Witcher on consoles and personal computers.
It is worth mentioning that the new version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has had a negative impact on the gameplay of some players, as much higher requirements have led to inconvenience for those affected while playing on PC.
