A few days ago CD Projekt RED announcedthat the next generation version of the third part of The Witcher will be released on December 14th. Apparently, the team is already preparing for the release of the update, given that the cover of the title has been updated in the digital stores.
On this converted Attention Reddit users. The updated cover appeared on the game pages on Steam, PS Store and Xbox Store. On the new cover, Geralt appears more detailed and mischievous. Many didn’t like the new cover and are already saying that the original version looks much better.

The next-gen version of the game will get support for 60 FPS, 4K resolutions, ray tracing and more.
