On Monday, July 3, the Wish Belt of Vislatvia, created for the Song and Dance Festival, was opened on the Esplanade, where everyone – both a participant and a visitor – is invited to leave their wish, as well as share their emotions about this time filled with songs, dances and positive emotions .

The unique Vistula belt was created by one of the supporters of the Festival, the mineral water brand “Mangaļi” in cooperation with Kiwie, a graffiti artist known in Latvia and around the world. The festive belt will be publicly available to everyone in the Festive Park created on the Esplanade until July 9.
The environmental installation, which is several meters long, is divided into five stages for each cultural and historical region of Latvia – Kurzeme, Vidzeme, Zemgale, Latgale and Sēlija. Each county is assigned its own color, which will allow you to find the right section of the belt where you can leave your message.
Already after the first day, the belt is decorated with several impressions and good wishes of the participants and visitors of the Festival. At this time, we invite everyone to promote the feeling of the Holidays and to weave their unfading message into the Holiday belt of Vislatvia! “May all singers have sonorous voices and dancers have smooth steps”, this is the wish that the Liepāja mixed choir “Laiks” has already left on their belt.
Also, a photo wall will be placed in the Daugava Stadium to capture unforgettable moments, while in Mežaparka’s Great Stage, the belt will wind through the rest area. Special “Mangaļi” and Kiwie souvenirs have been created in a limited quantity – a pair of socks, a sweater and a water bottle, which will be possible to win in contests that will be held on the “Mangaļi” social network profiles on “Facebook” and “Instagram”.
