The winning books are:
The Cuento jury, made up of Marta Castellino, Roque Grillo and Leandro Hidalgo, decided that the winning work is “Crónica de la Tremenda”, by Sergio Fabián Amad, under the pseudonym NajulKirillos. “Through 14 stories, plus the prologue and the conclusion, a unitary and original work is achieved, in terms of the tone and the formalization of a narrative voice that assumes the targeting of humble, past and unknown beings, protagonists of the Gesta de lndependence, which also confers thematic unity to the volume ”, highlights the jury.
In Dramaturgy, those who had the responsibility of choosing the winner were Galo Bodoc, Daniel Fermani and Pablo Longo, who opted for “The Possible River”, by Osjar Navarro Correa (Kikito). The jury highlighted that this work has a solid and coherent dramatic structure, an interesting and successful construction of characters and the presentation of a current problem, of social incidence and investigation in the world of human trafficking.
The winning novel was “The best job in the world”, by Gonzalo Ruiz, who was presented under the pseudonym ARA, chosen by the jury made up of Andrés Cáceres, Pablo Darío Colombi and Fabricio Márquez. What stood out about this work is that “it manages to make the reader a grateful voyeur through the universe of graphic journalism, where the protagonist, an intern of immense candor and enthusiasm, walks through the doors of a Mendoza newspaper to go through his work initiation there, somewhat rugged, exercising the best job in the world. “
Regarding the Poetry category, Sabrina Barrego, Fabián Almonacid and Gustavo Zonana chose the work by Cecilia Restiffo (Oax), “Points of contact”. The jury took into account that “the collection of poems manifests and highlights an original emotional state; He does it in a sincere, unpretentious and unpretentious way. If the text includes the demands of the situation, they do not drown it in the mere allegation or complaint ”. The jury added that the collection of poems reveals knowledge and mastery of formal strategies and the maturity of the voice expressed.
In Infanto-Juvenil it was “Forty ways of being invisible”, by Omar Ochi, who appeared under the pseudonym Cesar Cuatropane. He presented a collection of forty short stories for young readers, a book that is articulated in short but forceful stories, where the fantastic and the everyday merge and become confused. Urban stories, which speak of characters that nobody pays attention to or nobody sees. The jury composed of María Luz Malamud, Brenda Sánchez and José Luis Verderico highlighted “The originality of the proposal, especially in terms of the structure of these short stories, the power of the images and the themes that invite us to think.”
